3. Framework of processing (purpose of processing)
For the processing of data, the following categories of personal data are collected directly from the data subject:
- Name data
- Address data
- Communication data, for example email address
- Qualification data
The personal data of the applicant (data subject) is collected for the purposes of processing the application. The data is collected, stored and processed solely for this purpose on the legal basis of Article 6 (1) (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The personal data is blocked once the application process ends and erased once the statutory retention period has expired, after a maximum of six months. (§ 147, subsection 2, in conjunction with subsection 1, Nos. 1, 4 and 4a of the German Tax Code (AO); § 14b, subsection 1 of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG))
4. Server-Log-Files
The provider of our website collects and stores information in server log files that your browser automatically sends when you visit our website. This includes browser type and browser version, operating system, URL host name of the accessing computer, time of server enquiry.
This data is not attributable to any identified person. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to examine this data subsequently if we become aware of concrete evidence for illegal use of the website. This data is erased after six months.

7. Duration of storage
The personal data is blocked once the application process ends; it is erased once the statutory retention period has expired, after a maximum of six months. (§ 147, subsection 2 in conjunction with subsection 1, Nos. 1, 4 and 4a AO; § 14b, subsection 1 UStG) Once the regular application process expires, we may be able to add your profile to the Meyer Logistik applicant pool. In this case, we will contact you separately before your candidate profile is properly erased. If you then agree to being added to the pool, your candidate profile will remain in place and our recruiters will check on a regular basis to see if your profile matches an open position and ask you to reapply if necessary.
Rights of the data subject in accordance with Articles 13/14 GDPR
As a data subject, you have the following rights with regard to the storage and processing of your personal data:
Right to withdraw consent
You can withdraw your consent without giving reasons and at any time and to object to the processing.
Right of access
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored and processed by us, at any time. If your data is not or is no longer accurate or is incomplete, you may obtain the rectification and/or have your data completed at any time.
Right to erasure
You have the right to the erasure of your personal data processed by us. If you request that we should erase your personal data, we will carefully check this matter and, provided that there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary, erase your personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
Should your request for erasure conflict with legal retention obligations, we will restrict your personal data for processing.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive your personal data from us in a transferable and machine-readable format at any time, in order to transmit such data to another agency.
Right to lodge a complaint
